Products We Use
ClimateMaster® Geothermal Heat Pump Systems
Build Wichita is now using Geothermal Heat Pump Systems (Ground Source Heat Pumps) in Phase II of Belle Chase. The energy savings combined with the 30 percent tax credit make this system one of the great features of choosing a Build Wichita home. A geothermal or "ground-source" heat pump is an electrically powered device that uses the natural heat storage ability of the earth and/or the earth\'s groundwater to heat and cool your home or business. One of the things that make a heat pump so versatile is its ability to be a heating and cooling system in one. You can change from one mode to another with a simple flip of a switch on your indoor thermostat.
Andersen Windows
The Andersen 100 Series windows are made in rich exterior colors that won't fade, flake, blister, or peel. These low-maintenance windows are designed to look and perform as well in 10 years as the day they were installed. In addition to the low cost and maintenance of these windows, the energy efficient performance can get homeowners 30 percent or up to $1,500 via tax credit.
LP SmartSide
LP® SmartSide® products deliver outstanding strength and durability. The process begins with either wood strands or wood fiber. A zinc borate compound is applied throughout the substrate to help protect against fungal decay and termites. Superior exterior-grade resins are used to create extremely strong bonds within the product. Tested in laboratory and real-world conditions for more than a decade, LP SmartSide products are proven to withstand extreme heat, cold, humidity and rainfall.
FrameSaver Composite Door Bottoms
FrameSaver's patented composite bottom won't absorb water, warp, crack or rot and finishes and paints just like wood. FrameSaver's? finger-jointed wood composite protects the base of the frame from moisture exposure, and thus prevents water from wicking into the wood. Rot never has a chance to begin. They are so dependable that they come with a lifetime transferable warranty.
