ClimateMaster® Geothermal Heat Pump Systems
Build Wichita is now using Geothermal Heat Pump Systems (Ground Source Heat Pumps) in Phase II of Belle Chase. The energy savings combined with the 30 percent tax credit make this system one of the great features of choosing a Build Wichita home.
How does a Ground Source Heat Pump system work?
A geothermal or "ground-source" heat pump is an electrically powered device that uses the natural heat storage ability of the earth and/or the earth's groundwater to heat and cool your home or business.
The temperature beneath your home remains constant regardless of the season. ClimateMaster® Geothermal Heat Pump Systems harness the stable underground temperature to provide heating, cooling, and hot water at remarkably high efficiencies. So high, in fact, that energy use can be cut by up to 80%.
Like any type of heat pump, it simply moves heat energy from one place to another. The geothermal heat pump removes heat energy stored in the earth and/or the earth's groundwater and transfers it to the home.

The entire LP SmartSide Trim & Siding manufacturing process is earth-friendly as well. And as result of GeoDeck's patented, environmentally-friendly formula, GeoDeck is resistant to scratching, mold, and decay. GeoDeck is backed by a 20-year limited warranty, products do not require painting or sealing - ever.
GeoDeck does not contain toxic materials, hazardous chemicals, or preservatives. In addition, the hollow profile boards allow more air circulation and are cooler to the touch than traditional solid boards. All this while ensuring the splinter-free surface is kind to bare feet.
